1) Per Project Basis: Fees for professional time and expenses based on scope of work.
Fees for project work is individually negotiated with the client, based on the type of project and scope of work ( complexity, topic area, time frame, etc.). This creates the best win-win arrangement!

The client is under NO obligation by completing this form; it simply helps identify specific needs more succinctly. Other services not on this "shopping list" can be requested.

The retainer basis is especially frugal for the client who is just starting insurance billing, developing a new program or seeking recognition for a Diabetes Self-Management Education Program.
The monthly retainer SAVES the client at least 50% of the total sliding scale hourly rate and provides these extra very significant benefits:
- Mary Ann's guaranteed availability for 12 hours per month
- Mary Ann develops greater understanding of business, resulting in greater customization of work
- Mary Ann's network of contacts becomes client's, due to stronger personal relationship
- Continuity of service
- Rapid turn-around and shortened lead times, as there is no learning curve for consultant
- Able to telephone and email Mary Ann with questions on an 'as needed' basis
Telephone Consulting at Reduced RatE : GREAT for Insurance Reimbursement Questions!
Mary Ann's telephone consulting is offered at a reduced hourly rate (one hour minimum), representing at least a $50 savings! This discounted consulting is for those who only occasionally need to "ask an expert" specific questions to get them over temporary roadblocks in planning, executing programs, trouble-shooting or learning.
Mary Ann will first talk with the person briefly to make sure she can help answer the questions; there is no fee for this.

- On-site or off-site (non-telephone) consulting
- Writing reports (consulting is oral)
- Providing endorsements
- Doing research before or after the call to answer the questions

Client Referral Credit Program
The client's word-of-mouth referral to MARY ANN HODOROWICZ CONSULTING, LLC is one of the fastest and easiest ways for my company to grow. If you are a current retainer, hourly or project-based client and refer a new client to me, you will be eligible for a referral credit. For every individual or business that you refer who retains my services, you will receive a credit on your next invoice for 5 billable consulting hours. It's my way of saying "thanks"!
Payment of Fees: For fees based on a project basis, a deposit of 50% is due prior to starting the project, and payment of the remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project. Fees based on an hourly rate are billed at the end of the month and are due by the end on the next month (30 day billing cycle). All time sheets, invoices, and work records not included in billing statements are available upon request. Fees may be paid by business checks or money orders. If an amount remains delinquent 30 days after its due date, an additional 5% will be added for each month of delinquency. In case collection proves necessary, the client agrees to pay all fees incurred by that process.
Modifications: Major modifications to the contract are submitted in writing by the consultant or client. However, the client and consultant can make minor changes verbally, when it is necessary to progress promptly with the work.
Cancellation: The client can terminate a project or consulting agreement according to the terms of the contract. The client agrees to compensate the consultant for all work performed and expenses incurred up to the cancellation date.
Telephone Consulting Contract: Before the telephone consultation with you, I will ask that you agree to the terms and conditions above, and to a simple, written telephone agreement. This will make things easy and crystal clear!
